Museveni Faults UPDF for Somali Militants’ Attack

May 28, 2023
Museveni has worked so hard to leave Uganda a desert. He has destroyed every forest he found intact, especially in Buganda. Of course, greed couldn’t make him do better. Owing nothing to the indigenous practices of the land, he feels no attachment and hence under no obligation to protect what has been preserved for generations. Nevertheless, we will restore whatever he has destroyed even if it means deconstructing everything he has put in place.
On the restoration of forests, the Uganda Federal Republic will have to loan every household with two 30kg gas cylinders with the help of the federal states. Households will be encouraged to keep away from firewood for the sake of reforestation.
It must be a priority for the newly formed government to restore the terrain and allow for the land to heal. These efforts are done to appreciate how our ancestors have cared for the land and to pass such values unto our descendants. We have lived by the land, and are protected by that same land for the tradition must be respected and not overwhelmed by greed and selfishness displayed by the Museveni led government.
After a period of 30 years, moratorium may be lifted depending on the assessment carried out by the Federal government in conjunction with the Federal states. All other affected areas should be accorded all available opportunities to recover from the wrath of Museveni’s treacherous handling of the nation’s resources.
